Marcus Mosiah Garvey Jr. ONH

On behalf of Martin's International, (IRAWMA, IFOL, CMA, JSVFEST) and the Black Heroes Matter, we express our deepest and sincere condolences to Dr. Julius Garvey and the family and friends of  Marcus Garvey Jr. the older son of the late Freedom fighter the Most Hon Marcus Mosiah Garvey.   Unfortunately, Marcus Garvey, Jr. didn't receive the Presidential Pardon from former President Obama for his father while alive, but we trust that President-Elect Joseph Biden in his first year will see the need to Pardon Garvey of the 1923 racial Mail Fraud convictions while the younger son, Dr. Julius Garvey is still alive.
In 1923 Garvey was convicted of mail fraud for selling the company's stock and imprisoned in the United States Penitentiary Atlanta for nearly two years.

Marcus Mosiah Garvey Jr. ONH was a Jamaican born International political activist, publisher, journalist, entrepreneur, and orator. He was the founder and first President-General of the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) and African Communities League, through which he declared himself Provisional President of Africa.
